Sherlock Holmes Puzzle: Spot the Crime City
Difficulty Level

Holmes caught three robbers, namely, Walter, Robert and Ashton.
Each of them had robbed a bank in a different part of London at roughly the same time.
Walter robbed the bank in Clapham and Robert did not commit the crime in Ealing. The one who committed the crime in Ealing didn't rob the bank lockers and the one who robbed Clapham bank stole the landscape painting hung on the walls of the bank. Walter did not rob the silver coins.
In which part of London did Ashton commit his crime? What did he steal?

Answer: Ashton stole silver coins in an Ealing Bank. Since Walter robbed the landscape paintings of Clapham Bank and Robert did not commit crime in Ealing, it is clear that Ashton committed his crime in Ealing. Since no bank lockers were robbed at Ealing and Walter did not rob the silver coins, it is clear that Ashton robbed silver coins in an Ealing Bank.
